SARA offers its members social activities, public service activities, as well as technical activities related to the amateur radio service. To do this, we sponsor several radio and non-radio events each year.
- The ARRL Emergency Field Day Event (The Fourth full weekend in June)
- The North Jersey Hamfest this year has been postponed.
- The SARA Holiday party (December)
SARA sponsors a weekly “on-the-air-hamfest” every Sunday night at 8PM, on the Splitrock repeater.
Membership is based on our fiscal calendar from Oct. 1st through Sept. 30th. Renewal dues need to be paid in Oct. to remain a current member.
